Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in the glorious Shropshire countryside

Welcome to Brook House Farm Bed and Breakfast, a friendly family run Georgian country farmhouse set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside close to the county town of Shrewsbury in the Welsh marches.

Situated on the banks of the river Severn midway between Shrewsbury and Welshpool, Brook House Farm is an ideal base from which to explore the countryside of the Shropshire hills and mid-Wales or simply spend a few relaxing days away from home. There is much to see and do in Shropshire with walking, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing and a multitude of other outdoor pursuits all well catered for. If you fancy a quiet day out there is a host of historical buildings, castles and gardens within very easy reach.

We specialise in providing wedding party accommodation for weddings and events at nearby Rowton Castle and are pleased to be on their list of approved local accomodation. We can tailor the details of your stay to accomodate the requirements of your party and can take on tasks such as providing flowers or even champagne.

The Severn Way passes within a few hundred yards of the B & B making it an ideal overnight stop for walkers, either within the bed and breakfast itself or in one of our new posh camping pods. For walkers on other long distance paths passing within a few miles, such as Offa's Dyke, we offer a free shuttle service to and from the bed and breakfast subject to prior arrangement. New for 2012 is our farm shop stocking local produce, confectionary , drinks and a large selection of gifts. If you wish to order in groceries prior to your arrival we are happy to collect these and have them ready waiting for you.
